Hoffmann Filter Corporation is currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Engineer that is a talented and motivated individual looking for a challenging opportunity to work in a small, cooperative organization. This role is ideal for recent or soon-to-be graduates who are looking an opportunity to help grow our business in our sales department and also have a technical background.

You will need to work well both within our existing team, and also be motivated to build meaningful relationships with existing customers; and foster new relationships with new customers. You must be organized, driven, and be able to prioritize and multi-task as you work on several projects at the same time.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify new customers and opportunities
  • Build successful internal and external customer relationships
  • Work independently without daily supervision, but remain responsive to company management requests for assignments and account intelligence
  • Become very knowledgeable of organizational product lines, striving to become a resource for solutions and customer inquisitions
  • Develop and follow a business sales plan that promotes continued growth and meets or exceeds sales goals.
  • Travel – up to 40%
  • Demonstrate effective organizational skills and multi-tasking abilities, have an acute attention to detail, the ability to receive direction, and be a high energy team player with the ability to work both independently and in a group environment
  • Other duties as required

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in BSME, BSEE, Marketing, or related field
  • 3-5 years of professional experience a bonus (Industrial and Manufacturing highly preferred)
  • Strong project and relationship management ability required
  • Technical expertise with condensers, chillers, cooling towers, heat exchangers, pumps, fluid dynamics, specialty chemicals, filtration systems, ultra filtration, deionization, valves, and instrumentation
  • Solid mechanical or electromechanical aptitude
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Any Pertinent Certifications, Computer Program Experience, or Device/Machine Specific Experience
